What are 5 things you'd like to accomplish in the next 5 years?
There's nothing like an ambitious wish list to reveal just how UNambitious I am. Five things in five years?
1. (Can I count this as two things? Because it sort of is.) What really qualifies as an accomplishment, anyway? Is having kids an accomplishment? Because I'd like to have TWINS. Boys. Considering that probably won't happen without the aid of fertility drugs, perhaps that is an accomplishment. Or a miracle.
3. I'd like to finish a triathlon in the next five years. I orginally set a goal to complete one by the time I was 30 years old, but I don't mind admitting that I'm a procrastinator. I'm fine with tagging on a few more years.
4. I'd love to move overseas. My husband grew up overseas, and we'd both clamor at the chance to move. We're just waiting for the right opportunity.
5. Losing weight. Let's say 40 pounds. Though that might be a little OVERLY ambitious.
Play any instrument or speak any language, which do you choose?
Question submitted by cruftbox.vox.com.
I'm embarrassed of the fact that I've never played an instrument, never been in band, never taken part in a choir. Okay - that last part was a lie. I've taken part in a choir, but it was my church choir when I was a child, and I sang sooooo badly that they always paired me with another child when we sang the Christmas solos.
I have, however, always taken part in some form of speech & debate and acting classes, so choosing to speak another language kind of goes right down the same darkened alley, because, you know, it involves talking.
